After further review, students are no longer able to take classes that will overlap another class. Even if students are busy with work and other classes, the school will not allow us to take classes that overlap each other. “For example, if a student is enrolled in a class from 1-2:05 p.m. M-W., he/she cannot be enrolled in a second class that starts at 2 p.m. on the same days” says Bobbi Villalobos. Bobbi Villalobos, who is the Vice President of Harbor College, is also in charge of the Academic Affairs on campus.
This is meant to help students so they are not required to hop from class to class without a break in between. For people who are having trouble finding classes that don’t overlap, they can go to SSA 113 for help for choosing classes that fits their schedule.
