Fumigation is a process necessary for all schools to undergo. Having certain places like the schools cafeteria fumigated prevents the growth of mold fungi and other disgusting kitchen viruses from getting into ingredients used for cooking our food. Pests are eliminated as well. Luckily our school has been fumigated twice this year unlike other schools. For safety the whole building is kept closed for at least 4 hours after fumigation takes place.  No one wants their students to inhale toxic substances into their lungs because it’s more likely to cause harm. After 45 minutes the application dries and is no longer toxic.

    Normally Rosemary Oil which is a natural product that eliminates targeted pests is used and most importantly, all fumigants used by Dewey Pest Control are certified safe for all public schools.
